A graduate of the École Normale Supérieure de la rue d'Ulm with a doctorate in physics, Jean has over two decades of experience in the insurance industry. At BNP Paribas Assurance, he developed the individual loan insurance business, establishing a new market leader in France. He also managed operations in 14 countries.

In 2013, Jean co-founded Digital Insure, a company specializing in digital solutions for borrower insurance and individual protection. Under his leadership, Digital Insure became a market leader, operating across multiple countries before being acquired by the Odealim group in 2022.

Beyond his corporate roles, Jean is actively involved in promoting innovation in the insurance sector and mentoring emerging startups.
